Location: Hybrid (Cheltenham-based preferred)
Working Hours: 4 hours per week - Monday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: 14.26 per hour

We currently support hundreds of members by connecting them through our events, and we're focused on increasing engagement to further support our members and help their businesses grow.

Role Purpose
As part of the BGN team, the Marketing Executive member will play a vital role in promoting events, increasing visibility, and attracting new members, while maintaining engagement with our existing client base.
You need to be organised, driven, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You should also have a background in marketing and a good understanding of email software and digital communication tools.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Promote the benefits of BGN with the goal of attracting new members and helping current members book events and secure visitors
Create engaging content for email and social media campaigns within brand guidelines
Design marketing materials including flyers, brochures, and membership packs
Copyright and proofread all marketing and promotional content
Use email and social media scheduling tools to promote events
Upload events weekly to our website, as well as external platforms such as Eventbrite and LinkedIn
Maintain and update member and exhibitor profiles with logos, photos, and business descriptions on both the BGN and BGS websites
Promote new and existing members' profiles, news, and success stories across email and social media channels
Send confirmation emails to attendees for upcoming events
Provide updates to ambassadors on event bookings
Send follow-up emails to visitors encouraging them to upgrade to full membership
Manage and update the monthly newsletter, highlighting new members and upcoming events
Schedule event marketing emails via PopcornCRM (full training and templates provided) - to be sent 3 weeks, 10 days, and 3 days before each event
Celebrate and promote new members through email and social media campaigns
Collaborate with the team to deliver targeted membership sales campaigns that serve the needs of SMEs across the UK
Participate in ongoing internal and external training and professional development activities
Attend team-building days and internal briefings (notice will be provided)
Reporting Structure
You will report directly to Mark Linton, Director of The Business Growth Network Ltd, or to another appointed individual as determined by the Directors or Board.
