We are seeking a part-time Office Assistant to join our dedicated, friendly team at the Lansdown Tennis, Squash & Croquet Club.
Working hours are three days a week (most likely Monday/Wednesday/Friday, although there may be some flexibility) 9am-5.30pm including an hour for lunch. The salary is circa 25k per annum (calculated on a pro-rata basis). Occasionally there may be a requirement to work on a weekend (eg at an event); if this is the case prior notice will be given and time back in lieu.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent customer service skills - both face to face and on the phone
Office administration and computer skills (eg Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Drive)
Ability to work well in a team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Numeracy skills (knowledge of Xero software or similar would be an advantage)
Experience updating websites / social media would be useful
Sporting interest (especially Tennis/Squash) a bonus!
The Office Assistant will be expected to provide support with office-related activities which include: membership sign-up and support using our online Club management system; tours for prospective members; general administration support for the Club (including the occasional taking of minutes), responding to emails; booking of courts for events, event organisation, liaison with suppliers, and other tasks as required.
