Duties

Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail. Provide information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience. Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns. Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure all guests are attended to promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately are required. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. A background in culinary arts or food preparation can be beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition are essential for providing outstanding guest services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
