We currently have a vacancy for a Veterinary receptionist to join our lovely team. This role will be primarily based at our Brecon branch although travel to alternative branches; Abergavenny/Monmouth/Tredegar, may be requested in line with business needs.
This is a varied and rewarding role where each shift brings something new. We're looking for someone who is warm, approachable, communicates well, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Having the ability to build a rapport with our clients, their pets and with your colleagues is of the utmost importance.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate proven reception experience (or fantastic communication skills), be computer literate and hold strong administration, organizational and customer service skills.
In this client care role, you will be responsible for:
meeting and greeting pets and their owners
scheduling appointments
handling telephone inquiries
processing payments
dispensing medication
ensuring stock levels are accurate
maintaining good communication between clients and the veterinary team
keeping the front of house area clean and welcoming
answering emails and sorting mail
carrying out requests from management as needed
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 0830-1330 (hours maybe negotiable)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
