The Cat Clinic is a quietly confident, feline-only veterinary clinic based in Edinburgh. We simply focus on delivering outstanding care to cats and their humans in a calm, respectful environment. The Role

Day-to-day duties will include:

? Answering phones and booking appointments

? Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email

? Registering new clients

? Dispensing medications

? Taking payments

? Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

? Previous experience on a busy reception desk is preferable; veterinary experience is a plus!

? The ability to remain calm and compassionate whilst coping with potentially emotional situations.

? Good listening skills with strong empathy.

? Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public.

? A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office / basic word processing.

? Exceptional attention to detail.

? Ability to work independently, using initiative to complete tasks to a high standard.

? A true cat lover with a desire to work in a feline-focused clinic.

? Flexibility and adaptability, willing to go the extra mile to support the team (including occasionally picking up extra shifts).

? Commitment to ensuring the best possible care for every patient and client.

? A team player.
