We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation, while being part of a team of kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences, while adhering to budgetary constraints. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance the overall dining experience. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Assist in the development of special events or catering menus as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and front-of-house staff. A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to innovate and create unique dishes. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of customer service principles. Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
