We are seeking a dedicated and organised Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Duties
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services and procedures.
Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources and time management.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Assist in managing patient flow within the practice, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence related to patient care.
Support billing processes by verifying insurance information and assisting with claims as needed.
Experience
Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients.
Proficiency in using office software and electronic health record systems is advantageous.
