to join our friendly head office team at a well-established and successful construction company in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 200 Accounts experience who wants to take ownership of varied finance responsibilities within a supportive and stable business.
What you'll be doing:
Managing
weekly payroll
(circa 75 operatives) and
monthly payroll
end-to-end using Sage 50
Handling PAYE, RTI submissions, pensions, HMRC, SSP, P11Ds and related compliance
Processing purchase ledger invoices and payments (Sage 200)
Managing sales ledger transactions and project accounting (Sage 200)
Completing bank reconciliations, cashbook posting
Assisting with ad hoc finance and accounting tasks as required
What we're looking for:
AAT or similar Qualifications preferred
Proven experience with
Sage 50 Payroll
and
Sage 200 Accounts
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and time-management skills
Competent with Excel and Word (intermediate level)
A clear communicator who enjoys working as part of a team

Competitive salary of
27,000-30,000
, depending on experience
23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (with 7 days required for Christmas two week shutdown)
Standard working hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm (0.5 hr lunch) - some flexibility may be required
