VANRATH are proud to be working with a long-established accountancy practice to recruit a Payroll Specialist on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, stable team supporting the payroll function for one of their largest clients.
Based in beautiful offices in the heart of Armagh, this is a standalone role where you'll take ownership of the full end-to-end payroll process. You'll work closely with both the client and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys a supportive environment where work-life balance is genuinely valued.
What will you be doing?

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a large client
• Ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements
• Handling payroll queries and liaising directly with the client
• Managing starters, leavers, statutory payments, and year-end tasks
• Staying up to date with changes in Irish payroll regulations
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth payroll operations

What do you need?

• Experience in a payroll processing role, ideally within practice or handling multiple payrolls
• Essential: strong working knowledge of Irish payroll
• Comfortable managing payroll end-to-end, with accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills - able to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
