We are proud to be partnering with a globally recognised business with their search for a Payroll Manager for a full time, permanent position. The business has been undergoing an exciting restructure through the last 6 months which therefore opens up a fantastic opportunity for someone who is self-sufficient and can efficiently lead payroll. Overall, they will have the responsibility all payroll accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations and advise any amendments and re-runs, journal and reconciliation sign off.

UK Payroll duties will include:

Responsibility for running/managing the UK payroll
Responsibility for the management of company share schemes and the processes adopted within the team from a payroll perspective
Responsible for pension processes
Manage the payroll implications of salary exchange arrangements e.g. cycle to work, childcare vouchers
Responsible for the tax year end payroll related submissions and any related correspondence with HMRC
Maintaining company PAYE settlement agreement - including changes to the agreement and ensuring filing and payment of class 1A NIC.
Ensure submission of annual P11D forms and class 1B payment

Reporting:
Manage the payroll year end processes - liaising with auditors and external advisors and provide payroll data / information for annual and interim statutory reports i.e., Directors\' remuneration certificates, staff costs etc.
Prepare payroll budget and forecast
Preparation of information for gender pay gap review - manage and advise both internally and externally as necessary

The candidate:
Confident and competent in being able to relay information to the international shareholders on a regular basis
IPP Payroll qualification or willing to attain
Experience of managing a payroll function and journals
International finance experience, not necessary but advantageous
Self-starter with a can-do attitude who has the ability to plan, prioritise and manage their own workload effectively with limited supervision
Strong IT skills
Stakeholder management
Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership of responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met
