As Payroll Manager, you will oversee all payroll functions across the business, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, accuracy in pay, and efficiency in processing. You'll work closely with our HR and Finance teams to support the day-to-day operations of a busy hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all staff, including weekly and monthly payrolls.
Maintain payroll records, employee data, and timekeeping systems.
Ensure compliance with PAYE, NI, pension auto-enrolment, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and external agencies.
Liaise with HMRC and handle any payroll-related queries.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff scheduling processes as needed.
Continually review payroll systems and procedures to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar payroll-focused role.
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and reporting requirements.
Experience using payroll software.
Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
