The Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. This role involves a hands-on approach to processing monthly payroll, HMRC submissions, and year-end routines. You will also support pension management and work closely with HR to ensure smooth system transitions and the implementation of new processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable and accounts payable Accounts assistant experience Process monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. Submit HMRC filings in a timely and accurate manner, including PAYE and NI contributions. Manage year-end payroll routines and assist with pension schemes. Collaborate with HR to implement system transition procedures and ensure processes are followed correctly. Assist with employee benefits, including PSA and P11D submissions. Ensure that payroll deadlines are consistently met and maintained. Supporting the wider finance team with accountants payable and accounts receivable

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist/Officer or other similar roles in a payroll/finance function Experience with Sage Payroll and/or Access Paycircle. Ideally CIPP qualified (or working towards). Positive attitude towards change and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

What We Offer

Salary:

30,000 - 40,000 (depending on experience)

Holidays:

32 days inclusive of Bank Holidays and extended leave over the Christmas period
