About the Role

As a PCB Assembler you will be responsible for preparing and putting together printed circuit boards, in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Main responsibilities:

To assemble printed circuit boards

To prepare components, cable making, printed circuit board population, crimping, conventional hand soldering and basic assembly

To follow assembly diagrams and training instructions

To manually pick, place and hand solder PCBs

To maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work

To adhere to health and safety standards, quality standards, policies and procedures

To adhere to the production schedule

To adhere to operational procedures and production timelines

To carry out lean manufacturing processes and 5S

To provide improvement ideas to the Production Supervisor

The above is not an exhaustive list of day-to-day responsibilities. Duties should be carried out in accordance with local work instructions and procedures. There may be a requirement for some flexibility within this role including assisting in other areas to meet business needs.

Desirable

Previous experience in as a PCB Assembler within an electronics/manufacturing environment

Familiarity with antistatic workstations

Background in Electronics Manufacturing

Lean manufacturing and 5S

Knowledge of IPC standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
