What you'll be doing
Reporting to the People Business Partner, you will be the first point of call for any people-related queries. Your main responsibilities will be:
Providing managers and employees guidance and support aligned to local employment legislation, best practice, and policies on people matters, including employee relations, performance management, absence, and wellbeing.
Managing employee relations and performance management issues proactively through the appropriate processes and creating employee letters and follow-up documentation, ensuring the accuracy of information in templates.
Maintaining accurate records of employee cases and responsible for updating the HRIS.
Analysing data and trends to identify key insights and opportunities to support the People Business Partner in strategic discussions.
Supporting managers and employees in understanding the annual performance review process and encouraging a positive performance management culture through regular 121 meetings and continuous feedback.
Ensuring existing and new HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated to managers and employees and advising in accordance with them.
Promoting and supporting employee engagement initiatives and contributing to a positive work environment.
Supporting the People Business Partner and Global People team to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives. Supporting any HR related projects as needed.

We're looking for a passionate and proactive People professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will be committed to delivering an excellent employee experience and can build positive relationships with people.
Key qualifications and experience:
A degree in Human Resource Management or CIPD Certification (level 5) (or equivalent).
Previous experience in a People Advisor, Assistant or Coordinator role, ideally in a B2B SaaS or tech-driven matrix company.
Strong understanding and knowledge of Employment Law and best practice. This is crucial for providing accurate advice and ensuring compliance.
Strong understanding of employee relations processes and ability to manage the process end-to-end, including absence management, investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution, with an ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Essential for interacting with employees at all levels and building strong working relationships.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and have an eye for detail in a scaling and fast-paced environment.
Ability to write and present information professionally.
Experience working with HRIS systems and people tech tools.

As a People Advisor we expect your success and impact in the early stages of your career with us to look something like this:
Within 1 month:
Familiarise yourself with the company policies, procedures, values and communication tools.
Establish initial relationships with key stakeholders and team members to understand their roles and expectations.
Gain a clear understanding of the job responsibilities, expectations, and immediate priorities.
Familiarise yourself with the open employee relations cases and proactively support managers and employees with positive steps.
Within 3 months:
Successfully complete all onboarding training.
Be the first point of call in the UKI for people process queries and start to support employee relation issues with the People Business Partner.
Demonstrate the ability to manage tasks effectively.
Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes or workflows.
Within 6 months:
Successfully manage the employee relations and performance management cases in the UKI, escalating to the People Business Partner as necessary.
Actively contribute to and support People Strategy activities.
