Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated person with strong initiative to join our growing Human Resources team in the South.

The successful People Business Partner will be responsible for areas including (but not limited to):

Absence Management

• Support wellbeing and disciplinary processes
• Weekly and monthly sickness administration tracking and reporting
• Escalate triggers to managers

Employee Files

• Carry out periodic audits to ensure data is up to date
• Maintain electronic and physical personnel files
• System data entry

Employee Relations

• Disciplinaries and grievances
• Daily employee queries
• Provide advice to managers

Learning and Development

• Training budget allocation
• Career development
• Training courses

Service Delivery and Info

• HR budget
• Projects and planning
• Compliance and audits

Reports

• Support monthly headcount
• Ad hoc (NLW, gender pay)
• Recruitment

Please note that this role can be based throughout the South, and will require some office-based working.

The successful People Business Partner will be able to demonstrate:

• Proficiency in organisation and administration, with good spreadsheet, numeracy, and processing skills
• Initiative to help streamline and implement new processes, in addition to improving efficiency across the business
• A keen desire to develop and progress
• A positive personality, with a willingness to listen, learn, and work well with others
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with internal stakeholders
• Good degree of knowledge and experience in the field of Employee Relations
