This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate to join Clarke's People & Culture team, gaining broad exposure across HR while supporting the development of a positive, values-driven culture.

About The Role



Support the promotion of Clarke's visions and values in all aspects of work and promote a diverse and inclusive culture though EDI activities. Assist with colleague engagements, helping the Caring at Clarke team to initiate employee incentives and fundraising opportunities for our Charity Partner. Provide day-to-day People administration support, including maintaining accurate employee records, updating HR systems, preparing standard letters and documentation, and filing confidential information appropriately. Provide support to the training administrator by booking training and updating training records when required. Assist with sickness absence, including supporting managers and supervisors. Provide administrative and practical support to managers on people processes, escalating complex disciplinary, grievance or performance issues where appropriate. Assist with note taking in meetings and providing supporting documentation when required. Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, including an ongoing review of the process, updating job descriptions, posting jobs, taking part in interviews, participating in selection and offering positions. Assisting in the full onboarding process for new staff, from sending the offer letter, ensuring all onboarding documentation is signed and returned, to organising inductions and seeking feedback on the process to ensure a positive experience. Draft and issue standard People-related correspondence under guidance, including letters and documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail. Monitoring, reviewing and updating all policies to ensure these are in line with current legislation.

Required Criteria



A relevant degree in Human Resources or Business Studies or equivalent. High level of IT proficiency to include Microsoft Package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook) Excellent time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills Excellent communication skills, verbally and written High levels of attention to detail Flexible and adaptable approach to work Motivated team player with the ability to work on own initiative

Desired Criteria



Associate CIPD Level 5 membership 1 years' experience in a HR role or similar Previous experience in construction industry
