Position title: Performance Marketing Manager - eCommerce
Location: London (Hammersmith), UK (hybrid working)
Reports to: Senior Manager, Performance Marketing & Omni Enablement
Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Job summary

As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will lead digital activation from conception to execution. You will be in lockstep with your brand and sales counterparts to understand long term & short-term goals to translate into effective digital campaigns across Amazon EMEA.

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking campaigns with Amazon EMEA, in coordination with our media agency both through paid search and display funnel. You will execute media strategy in line with trade strategy and budgets available and have a clear understanding of how digital spend is moving the business forward.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop full funnel marketing strategy on/off retail platforms to drive overall brand and ecommerce growth plans on Amazon
  • Execute A&P budget allocation aligned to business goals at BU level and implement budget pacing to track and optimize elements of digital advertising campaigns across a given time-period
  • Work closely with our media agency to drive improvements to campaign performance by reviewing targeting strategy, adapting campaign goals or inputs, shifting budget, switching creatives / copy, A/B testing platform features, etc.
  • Leverage state of the art analytics tools to understand customer activation and digital campaign performance and distill insights to help drive growth
  • Develop a Pan Newell activation approach \xe2\x80\x93 leveraging key event calendar or creating purchase occasion through cross brand opportunities
  • Be the media expert in preparation for key customer and internal planning meetings with cross-functional teams to help achieve aligned priorities and goals
  • Recommend best-in-class approach for performance marketing management tools and reporting capabilities
  • Partner with:
  • Amazon Customer Marketing teams to build eCommerce activation plans based on BU strategy and allocated budgets
  • In-house eDesign team and BU brand teams to develop best in class digital assets
  • Amazon Advertising and media agency
  • Analytics to understand sales lift and performance trends to optimize the media mix
  • Internal Planning & Brand teams to determine optimal product mix and omnichannel cohesiveness
Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
  • BS/BA or University degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of digital marketing and/or Ecommerce work experience, preferably in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables industry, and/or retail
  • Experience in Programmatic Display management
  • Fluent English (written & spoken)
Preferred:
  • Demonstrated ability to drive improvement of digital KPIs via a strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to educate and influence cross-functional teams, key stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in a fluid, multi-stakeholder environment
