As a Personal Assistant to HM Senior Coroner and administrative support to the team, you will provide a full range of high level assistance. Responsible to the Senior Coroner and Coroner Service Manager on all day to day matters of this busy service. Your support enables the Coroner to carry out their judicial function, keeping the bereaved at the heart of what we do.
This is a highly rewarding, challenging and varied role which requires excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be responsible for preparing and completing legal documents ensuring accuracy. This role will be exposed to sensitive and distressing material. You will provide a full range of reception duties including, assisting visitors to the court rooms, taking telephone calls from the bereaved and other professionals and overseeing multiple email inboxes.
We are looking for candidates who...
Are able to take lead responsibility for providing personal assistant support to the coroner.
Make informed responses to enquiries, and resolve problems.
Maintain effective systems for dealing with correspondence.
Provide local financial and administrative support.
Accurately input and produce data.
Responsibilities in relation to health and safety.
