to support the Director. This is a pivotal, fast-paced role where you'll keep operations flowing, managing diaries, documents, clients and comms, so the Director can focus on growth.
Role:
You'll run day-to-day administration and communications with accuracy, discretion and urgency. A big part of the job is
owning the inbox and document flow
(including
chasing unsigned paperwork
) and keeping the
Director's diary
watertight, including
nationwide meetings
. You'll also handle
inbound/outbound calls
, keep
social media
updated daily and ensure information kept up to date.
Duties
Inbox control:
prioritise, draft and action email responses; escalate only what truly needs the Director.
Diary & travel:
schedule nationwide meetings, plan routes, avoid clashes and confirm logistics.
Phone & client liaison:
handle incoming/outgoing calls, provide clear updates and log outcomes.
post updates, reply to basic enquiries, keep pages current and professional.
Project tracking:
note deadlines, follow through, and keep the Director informed on progress.
General support:
light office admin; assist with ad-hoc tasks that keep the business moving.
Requirements
Tech-confident:
comfortable with email suites, Word, Excel, PDFs, scanners; quick to learn new systems.
Calm, organised, proactive:
you anticipate needs, juggle priorities, and finish what you start.
Clear communicator:
confident phone manner and clean written English.
Discreet & reliable:
handle sensitive information professionally.
Driving licence (essential):
occasional travel to external meetings.
Desirable (not essential):
experience in
Personal Injury / insurance / motor claims
.
