We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our small, supportive team, contributing to a 24/7 package of care for a gentleman with complex needs.

Our client is non-verbal and lives with cerebral palsy, learning difficulties, and epilepsy. He uses a wheelchair and enjoys being out in the community, taking part in activities, and living an active social life.

A key requirement of the role is that you are able to deliver high-quality, person-centered care both at home and when out in the community, supporting with personal care, daily living tasks, and encouraging independence. You will work on a 2:1 support ratio during the day.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

An excellent communicator A full UK driving licence holder Physically able to push a wheelchair and support the client to take part in a wide range of activities most days Flexible and adaptable, willing to cover sickness and holidays Enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, patient and committed.

What We Offer

A variety of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (day shifts and sleepovers), on a rota basis - further details of days and times can be discussed at the interview stage. An enhanced DBS check is required for this role (funded by the package). Applicants with an enhanced DBS on the Update Service are an advantage.
