We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organised environment. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Maintain an organised and tidy shop floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively. Process transactions accurately at the till, handling cash and card payments. Restock shelves and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability. Provide product information and recommendations to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. Assist in managing deliveries and unpacking stock as required. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Handle customer complaints or queries professionally, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable; proficiency in English is a plus. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail in maintaining shop displays and inventory. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required. Must hold a full UK driving licence
