We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza & Pasta Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Italian cuisine, particularly in preparing high-quality pizzas and pasta dishes. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and taste of all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and food safety regulations.
Manage inventory of ingredients, minimizing waste while ensuring fresh and high-quality products.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes or seasonal menu items.
Monitor cooking times and techniques to ensure efficiency during service.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pizza & Pasta Chef or similar role in an Italian restaurant or pizzeria.
Strong knowledge of Italian culinary techniques and ingredients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
