We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza & Pasta Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing high-quality pizzas and pasta dishes using fresh ingredients, while maintaining consistency, speed, and excellent presentation.
Key Responsibilities Pizza Preparation
Prepare and cook sourdough and traditional pizzas
Manage dough preparation, stretching, topping, and baking
Ensure correct cooking temperatures and timing
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Pasta & Hot Section
Prepare fresh pasta dishes according to recipes and standards
Cook sauces from scratch using fresh ingredients
Assist with other hot kitchen sections when required
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
Kitchen Operations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pizza and pasta sections
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Manage stock levels and reduce food waste
Assist with ordering and proper storage of ingredients
Teamwork & Development
Work closely with Head Chef and kitchen team
Be open to learning new dishes and techniques
Support training of junior kitchen staff when needed
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Pizza Chef, Pasta Chef, or similar role
Knowledge of Italian/Mediterranean cuisine
Experience working with fresh dough and quality ingredients
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
