Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a pizza chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic Neapolitan pizzas using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients, ensuring consistent quality and customer satisfaction, skilled in dough preparation, oven operation, and ingredient sourcing, while also maintaining kitchen hygiene

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Oversee meal preparation and ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Help create an enjoyable dining experience for guests through exceptional food quality and presentation.

Requirements

Proven experience as a pizza chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
