We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences, leading kitchen operations, and mentoring junior staff members.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations to ensure high-quality meals are prepared consistently.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their culinary skills and performance.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste to optimise kitchen efficiency.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
Handle special dietary requests and accommodate various customer needs with creativity and professionalism.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary methods, and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent initiative when required.
A passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu development, and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
