We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee meal preparation, ensuring all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during service periods. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary requirements. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure availability. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices. Serve meals in an appealing manner, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen hygiene. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
