Overview

We are a top 20 pizzeria in the UK and are looking for a hands on pizza chef who would like to prove themselves and handle the responsibility of organising and managing a new pub residency in a lovely pub in Richmond.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a love for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining an organised kitchen environment. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a flair for culinary creativity.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to our established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared in accordance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed. Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, with specific experience in pizza preparation being highly advantageous. A background in culinary arts or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required. Experience in meal preparation and serving within a restaurant setting will be beneficial. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
