Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and menu planning. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen Plan and design menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and presentation standards Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary Monitor food quality during preparation and service, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation Assist in catering events as required, showcasing culinary skills in various settings

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles Experience in menu planning, catering, and fine dining is highly desirable Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities and dietary department operations is a plus Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Understanding of food handling regulations and food safety practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
