We are seeking a talented and passionate pizza chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, with experience in meal preparation and food safety practices. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that not only meet our high standards but also delight our guests. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to our menu specifications. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current food trends. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices. Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in a restaurant setting is essential. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety standards. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. A passion for cooking with an eagerness to learn new skills and techniques. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
