The Pizza Place Manningtree is a pizzeria with a twist, rather than the classics we redefine the rules on what can go on a pizza!

We're looking for a creative Pizza Chef who's looking for a venue to have fun whilst working with Joe and our team to put their stamp on this busy pizzeria.

Job Overview.

As Sous Chef you work directly with the Head Chef delivering a high quality fresh pizza whilst developing the offering and events for customers. Using authentic ingredients to create a great product, you will be responsible for menu creation, for team development and taking the business further.

Your input and suggestions will be welcomed as we work together to keep The Pizza Place as the busiest Pizzeria in Manningtree and look to expand to new towns.

Duties and Responsibilities

To lead the team when Head Chef is not working
To provide an exceptional service to all customers and to be a brand ambassador
Help recruit team members when required, training colleagues
Maximise the food quality for customers to ensure repeat visits
Adhere to HACCP, keeping our 5 star hygiene rating.
Work as a team member, setting an example through hard work and good working practices
Flexible working days of 5 days a week

Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues Attend training and meetings when required Constantly improve product knowledge to maximise the service provided Take a responsible approach towards timekeeping and attendance at work to ensure the pizzeria runs efficiently at all times, and to assist in the event of absence cover Take pride in personal presentation and adhere to the company standards of appearance. Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertaken Be responsible for your own personal development at work and strive to be the best in what you do, taking care and pride in your work

Quality

Ensure our guests receive an exceptional level of service and want to return Anticipate guests' needs and provide service to exceed their expectations Take appropriate action with regards to guest feedback Comply with the Jolly Good Pubs operating standards

General

Understand your role and responsibilities in terms of the Health & Safety Policy including completion of all mandatory training Assist with marketing; working with the head chef and our social team to create content for social media, email-outs and printed marketing

Pay: 13.20-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
