About the role

This exciting role gives you the opportunity to make a real difference to the experience and future of our students. It gives you the ability to develop the strategy across the University for increasing student participation in work-related opportunities, in addition to increasing student uptake.

You will collaborate with a wide range of colleagues across the University, in an addition to external stakeholders, which gives you the flexibility to impact change and influence decision making, whilst ensuring our students get access to high quality and impactful work-related experience.

About you

With experience in managing work-related learning experiences, placements, internships or volunteering activities, you will have significant experience of managing staff and project teams delivering relevant activities. An understanding of employability in a higher education setting is key, alongside a motivation for providing the very best experience to our students.

With great communication skills, the ability to build relationships quickly and the ability to influence decision making, you will know, how to deliver results against deadlines in the most effective way possible. We are looking for someone who has creative ideas and is willing to adapt and change with our students expectations, behaviours and an ever-changing employment market.
