Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card
Overtime: Paid at Time + Half
Hours: Monday - Friday (Days)
PHG Contracting Ltd is a well-established Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor, is seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team.
Main Responsibilities of the Plant Fitter include:
Routine servicing and maintenance of heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and other construction equipment
Carrying out repairs and replacements to ensure machinery is safe and fit for use
Conducting fault-finding, diagnostics, and detailed inspections
Responding to breakdowns using the company van provided
Completing accurate job sheets and service reports

The successful Plant Fitter will have:
A full UK driving licence
Previous experience in plant, HGV, agricultural, or mechanical engineering
A relevant qualification in plant maintenance (ideal but not essential)
