Job Summary

We are a well-established plant hire company based in Avonmouth, supplying and maintaining a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment. Due to continued growth, we're looking for enthusiastic and skilled Field Service Engineers and Workshop Engineers to join our expanding team.

About the Roles

Field Service Engineers

- Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a range of plant and heavy equipment.

Workshop Engineers

- Based at our Avonmouth depot, you'll carry out maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our hire fleet to ensure machinery is always ready for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults on construction and plant machinery (diesel engines, hydraulics, electrics, etc.) Carry out servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections Provide professional and friendly technical support to customers Complete accurate job reports and service records

What We're Looking For

Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural, or heavy vehicle machinery Motor mechanics qualifications or experience are highly valued - we're happy to consider car or HGV mechanics looking to move into plant work Ex-military engineers are very welcome to apply - transferable mechanical or electrical skills are ideal NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Mechanics, Plant Maintenance, or similar (preferred but not essential) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence (essential for field roles) A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
