GIND UK is a UK facade access maintenance provider with demonstrated expertise on several high-profile projects, many of which define the London skyline. Current projects include 52 Lime Street (The Scalpel), One Blackfriars Road, Southbank Place, London Wall Place, The Leadenhall Building and HSBC Tower.
Due to the continued growth of our business which operates predominantly in London, we are currently recruiting a Plant/Cradle Maintenance Engineer to grow the team, due to the high demand for our services thanks to the quality of the service we deliver.
The Role
Your role will be primarily to maintain various types of access systems for our clients. You will be working on the structural, mechanical, and electrical aspects of this equipment. There will also be the opportunity to be involved with the testing & commissioning of the access systems, as we partner with the company that supplies and installs the access systems. This will help to obtain or improve alternative skills providing a better foundation for the ongoing maintenance of the equipment. This also should improve the quality of the equipment as experience will be gained through the whole life of the equipment.
Candidates will be considered with the any of the following experience:
Previous experience commissioning, testing, and maintaining equipment/plant
Qualifications in mechanical and electrical for example City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3
Programmable Logic Controllers and Control Systems
Inspection of PFPE, safety lines, anchors, PPE etc,
Anyone that has experience working on cranes, lifts, escalators, site plant or similar equipment that has hydraulics and/or hoisting equipment involved would be highly desirable.
