PALS 2015 is a thriving, busy and exciting wrap around care service that supports Llanishen Fach Primary School. We strive to offer high quality care and activities for up to 52 children per day, aged between 4-11. But we are looking to expand, creating exciting new roles and hours with flexible working and opportunities for additional holiday club work.
We have an amazing outdoor and indoor space that are used to entertain the children by practitioners taking on children's views and using methods to incorporate sensory play, crafts, and game opportunities. The children bring these areas to life with their creativity and ideas.
To complete our incredibly dedicated team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to work alongside and ensure that the Playwork principles and ethos are implemented and fulfilled within the setting.
A qualification is essential to this role. The individual needs to work as part of a team, be able to think on their feet and support those around them. The individual is expected to build positive relationships with parents/carers and the children who attend the setting and work alongside the staff within the school.

- Has a warm and approachable manner and a smiling face!
- To have a 'no questions asked manner' when asked to get involved in 'eating' plastic food, because what could be better than eating some plastic cakes!
We require the individual to:
- Maintain health and safety and ensure the environment is secure for the children.
- Actively promote the safety of the children in the environment and have excellent understanding of their duties and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding and child protection.
