Overview
We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our ongoing kitchen and bathroom replacement programme within occupied social housing properties across the Liverpool area. The role includes first and second fix plumbing, installation of sanitaryware, pipework alterations, and ensuring systems are left fully functional and ready for handover.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out first and second fix plumbing installations to kitchens and bathrooms.
Install and connect sinks, basins, kitchen taps, bath/shower units, toilets, isolation valves, traps and wastes.
Carry out pipe rerouting, copper and plastic pipework alterations, and installations in line with design layouts.
Pressure test and ensure all connections are fully watertight and compliant.
Fit bath panels, boxing-in, and finish pipework ready for tiling or finishing trades.
Attend to any required remedial or snagging works.
Work respectfully and professionally within occupied residential properties.
Record completed works accurately and report any variations or additional requirements to the site supervisor.
Follow all health & safety compliance and safe working practices.
Requirements
Qualified Plumber with experience in domestic installations or social housing maintenance.
Proven ability to carry out both first and second fix plumbing.
Competent with copper, plastic and compression fittings, including use of power tools and soldering equipment.
Own tools and transport preferred.
CSCS card or equivalent desirable.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
Professional manner with good tenant interaction skills.
Knowledge of health & safety procedures and safe isolation practices.
