Job Description
We are an independently owned freehouse offering quality dining, all food is locally sourced and homemade and the team pride themselves on a very high standard of food, drinks and service.
We are currently ideally hiring on a
part time
basis, youmust be available:
Evenings, Weekend Days, Weekend Evenings although some weekady shifts may be available in addition.Starting Rate of Pay:
We have pay scales which start at minimum wage or aboveand progress depending on your experience and responsibility up to 11.70 per hour for non supervisory roles.All positions also include a share of tips which generally amount to 1.30 per hour in addition to the stated hourly rate
.*Starting rates by age:
16-17 year old- 7.55 per hour 18-20 year old- 10.00 per hour Over 23 years old- 12.21 per hour
All ages have the
opportunity to earn a higher rate once signed off in our training journey
and are plus tips:
Responsible for washing up, deep cleaning, basic food preparation and generally assisting the chefs with all aspects of running a busy kitchen.Experience/skills required:
Experience in a commercial catering environment will put you in good standing, however experience is not essential, this role is very hands on and very physical so experience in any manual position or just a good level of cleanliness standards and being physically fit will help.We have immediate start available for this position (or we can honour your notice period from your current job)
