Support chefs during meal service by preparing dishes as instructed and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to the head chef. Participate in the cleaning of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment after use. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including restaurant or hotel settings. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are essential. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.
