Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pot Wash/Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations, ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, whilst helping the chef with preparation and service to keep event days running smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a desire to grow within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Use of the Dishwasher to keep the Stadiums pots and pans clean and ready to go again for the next fixture. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored. Support chefs in cooking tasks, including basic food preparation and plating dishes. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the head chef. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service times.

Skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-12.96 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
