We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Support chefs and cooks with various tasks as required, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to the kitchen supervisor. Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain a tidy workspace. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A positive attitude towards helping others and contributing to a collaborative atmosphere. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-8.55 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
