Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Organise and store kitchen supplies and equipment in an orderly manner. Support chefs and kitchen staff by helping with various tasks as needed. Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept tidy and free from hazards. Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or damaged items.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. A passion for food preparation and working in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a diverse team. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling is advantageous.
