rucomfy is a family run business based in the heart of Lancashire's and for over 40 years we have been lovingly designing and manufacturing beanbags for thousands of homes and businesses all over the UK. Every product we sell is designed, manufactured and shipped from our location in Lancashire!

We currently sell across 10+ channels, boasting some of the biggest UK retailers as some of our customers and top the SERPs of some of the biggest marketplaces around. We need a skilled member of staff to help us consolidate our current position and help with scope for future growth!

Position Overview



We are seeking an analytical and results-driven individual with strong and proven SEO and PPC knowledge to join our marketing team as a PPC & SEO Specialist. This role will focus on driving targeted traffic and optimising digital performance across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will be data-focused and comfortable working with PPC campaigns, SEO strategies, Meta and Google ads and conversion optimisation to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities



PPC Campaign Management & Strategy: Assist in creating, managing, and optimising paid campaigns across Google Ads, and other platforms to drive relevant traffic and improve ROI. Develop and execute keyword strategies using tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush Analyse performance data, generate detailed reports, and present actionable insights on CPC, CPA, ROAS, and overall performance. SEO Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and visibility. Conduct detailed technical SEO audits and work closely with the web developer to resolve issues related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, structured data, and Core Web Vitals. Perform in-depth keyword research, search intent analysis, and competitor benchmarking using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog. Optimise on-page elements including metadata, internal linking, URL structures, content hierarchy, and schema markup. CRO Analysis: Collaborate on Conversion Rate Optimisation strategies, using A/B testing and data insights to increase user engagement and conversions. Data-Driven Insights: Analyse performance metrics, including traffic, conversions, and user behavior, and provide actionable insights for campaign optimisation. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on campaign performance and key metrics, helping to refine strategies based on findings. Market Research: Conduct market and competitor analysis to keep ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years in a data-driven marketing role, with PPC and SEO experience. Advertising Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Ads, Amazon Advertising, Meta Ads and other advertising platforms Reporting and Analytical Skills: Confident using Google Analytics 4, SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush), and Google Suite/Office programs like Excel/Google Sheets. Product Feeds: Regular audit and upkeep of XML product feeds to ensure product information is exemplary. HTML/CSS: Minimum basic understanding and how they relate to SEO Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Communication: Strong ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data reporting.
