The St Anne's team is excited to be able to offer an opening in Eastbourne's longest standing and largest veterinary practice as Practice Manager. Our award winning practice is looking for a Practice Manager to join the St Anne's family, as we take on the next chapter in our growth, and continue delivering outstanding care to our patients and clients.

About the Role




As our Practice Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our team has everything they need to continue delivering exceptional client and patient care, whilst maintaining our excellent team culture. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the practice, supporting our team, and driving us forward in innovation and sustainability. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for high quality care and service.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the financial, operational, and administrative management of the practice Support and develop our team, fostering a culture of well-being, collaboration, and continuous learning Ensure excellent client service, maintaining our reputation for compassionate customer focused care Manage HR processes, including recruitment, training, and staff development Ensure compliance with industry regulations and practice standards Work closely with the clinical director to develop and implement business strategies Develop and maintain our sustainability credentials. Serve as a key link between Linnaeus's central support teams and the practice team, developing effective and robust relationships Line management of the administrative team Engage in special projects, such as overseeing our upcoming 80th anniversary celebrations

About You:



Experience in team management (veterinary practice or healthcare preferred) Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team Business and financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and operational management Excellent communication and customer service skills Knowledge of veterinary practice software, IT systems and HR processes is desirable Passionate about workplace culture and encouraging a growth mindset amongst your team Possess an environmental conscience
