Prior experience in veterinary or clinical management is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with a background in HR management. Proven experience in managing a team A confident and inspiring leader who brings out the best in others A skilled planner and organiser who thrives in fast-paced environments An excellent communicator and relationship-builder, both with colleagues and clients Someone with a genuine passion for team development, animal welfare, and practice success

About the role:

This is a Part Time role working 25 to 32 hours per week. Please note some Saturday shifts may be involved to cover holiday and sickness.

As our Practice Manager, you'll be ensuring the practice is running smoothly-- balancing day-to-day operations with people leadership, project execution, and strategic collaboration.


You'll work closely with the Practice Owner's to deliver on business objectives, while also championing a positive, motivated culture that empowers every team member to do their best work. You will be working alongside our team of 4 vets, 6 nurses and 4 brilliant receptionists.

What You'll Be Doing:

Overseeing daily operations to ensure the delivery of our gold-standard veterinary care Implementing and managing HR policies, recruiting, onboarding, and developing a passionate, diverse team Solving problems quickly and efficiently, keeping service smooth and clients happy Planning and executing bespoke projects, from team development to operational improvements Managing your own schedule to balance hands-on support with high-level strategy
