At GoFibre we're on an exciting journey to revolutionise broadband capabilities for homes and businesses in rural towns and villages across Scotland and the north of England, connecting communities and affording them digital capability equal to their city counterparts; whilst being as environmentally conscious as possible, and creating social value in the areas we serve.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
Locate and repair faults, including single fibre issues, cable damage, and equipment failures
Lead major incident response, acting as the specialist fibre engineer and providing root cause reports
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to deliver timely incident updates
Own complex issues end-to-end, applying technical expertise to deliver effective solutions
Support testing across installs, repairs, and maintenance tasks as needed
Conduct site surveys for new customers and locations, reporting findings and improvement opportunities
Prioritise Health & Safety for yourself, the public, and customers while working onsite
Maintain accurate network records and report third-party damage with supporting evidence
Provide technical training and coaching to installation and build teams
Participate in an on-call rota to ensure high-quality service delivery
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Expert in fault investigation and PIA infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of network build and quality standards
Proven experience managing major incidents, from assessment to rapid service restoration
Accountable for resolving installation failures quickly and cost-effectively, minimising customer impact
Skilled in identifying and resolving red flags to ensure build quality meets serviceable standards for L2C delivery
Required Certifications:
SA001, SA002, S7 / S8 PIA certifications
NRSWA accreditation
