Summary

We are seeking a passionate Room Leader to join our team at Roundabouts Day Nursery, in our Preschool Academy room. In this role, you will oversee daily running of the room, ensuring that our core values of Well-being, Independence, Security, and Resilience are upheld. Your leadership will be vital in creating a supportive environment for both children and staff.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the room team ensuring high standards of care and education. Support the development and implementation of engaging activities and learning experiences for children. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to build strong relationships. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies. Monitor children's progress and well-being, providing support as needed. Encourage professional development among staff members through mentoring and guidance.

Requirements

Strong leadership skills with experience in early childhood education or childcare settings. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A full and relevant Early Years Level 3 is essential Experience working with young children is essential. Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
