We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced

Room Leader

to join our friendly and well-established day nursery in

South West London (SW14)

. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their childcare career and lead a team in providing outstanding early years care.

About the Role:

As a Room Leader, you will:

Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5. Oversee daily operations of the room, ensuring high standards are consistently met. Support, mentor, and guide Nursery Practitioners and Apprentices. Plan and implement creative and stimulating activities in line with the

EYFS framework

. Take responsibility for health, safety, and safeguarding in your room. Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider nursery team. Monitor and track the progress of children through observations and assessments.

What We're Looking For:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)

- Essential. Proven experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner. In-depth knowledge of the

EYFS

, safeguarding, and health & safety practices. Strong leadership and team management skills. A nurturing, energetic, and hands-on approach. Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal abilities.
