The Deputy Manager will take responsibility for supporting the Manager in the daily running of Christchurch Preschool, including the leadership and management of staff and premises, the welfare, learning and development of children and liaison with parents, in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The Deputy Manager will ensure the provision of high-quality, inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children and sustain a safe, welcoming, purposeful, stimulating, and encouraging environment both indoors and outdoors.
Your Responsibilities
To support the manager to inspire and lead preschool staff in the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for early years children. To manage staff on a day-to-day basis. To contribute to and implement early years policies. Ensure that all statutory, legal, and setting obligations are followed and met.

You will need:
At least two years of experience working in an early years care and education setting.
Level 3 early years' education and childcare qualification or equivalent.
A willingness to try creative ideas.
Happy to face and commit to challenges.
