We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced
Pre-School Lead
to join our leadership team at Ashbridge, where we are committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred education across our nursery settings.
About the Role:
As Pre-School Lead, you will take the lead in supporting and inspiring our four Pre-School teams, championing excellence in practice and ensuring the best outcomes for children. Working alongside our Nursery Management and Quality Teams, you'll coordinate curriculum delivery, staff development, inspection readiness, and family partnerships. This role requires a candidate that can lead from the front, working directly with children and practitioners.
You will:
Lead and develop teams across four Pre School classrooms
Monitor and enhance EYFS delivery and the Ashbridge Curriculum
Line manage Early Years Teachers and support their professional development
Support Pre-School transitions and key quality events
Evaluate and report on performance to SLT
Collaborate with parents, staff and external professionals
Drive high standards in practice, learning environments and child outcomes
We're Looking For:
QTS / EYTS
with at least
2 years' experience
working with Pre-School aged children
Leadership experience
in an Early Years setting (minimum 1 year)
Proven knowledge of EYFS, inspection frameworks (Ofsted), and curriculum development
Strong communication, IT, and organisational skills
A passion for supporting child development and continuous improvement
A flexible, nurturing and proactive approach to team leadership
Access to your own vehicle and a full driving licence (travel required between settings)
