We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Lead Practitioner to join our friendly team.

Our Charity Registered Preschool is volunteer committee run. We operate alongside Southampton School term timetable and our intake covers children aged two, three and four. We are committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and it is essential that all staff and volunteers share this commitment.

We are looking for an individual with a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification and an in-depth knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful applicant will have proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage their team.

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

Level 3 qualified as a minimum

Experience in an Early Years managerial role (2 years)

Safeguarding level 4

Health and safety

First aid - paediatric

SEN experience

Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS

Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skill

Please note that an Enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references will be essential prior to commencement of employment.

Hours

: 7.30am - 16.00pm, 8 1/2hours per day,1/2 hour unpaid lunch(School Term Time ONLY)

Salary

: Starting 13.50per hour for 38 working weeks and 8 weeks paid holiday paid as salary over 12 months. Overtime available at an hourly rate.
